Auto Warranty Provider Breaks Repair Claims Down

repair claimRepair claims can be tricky and we know this at Continental Warranty, your auto warranty provider. When some providers talk about them, it can sound like technical jargon and almost like it’s in a completely different language. We’ve explained it here in an accessible and non-condescending way.

First things first, stay calm and don’t panic. Accidents can happen when you’re thinking irrationally and don’t have your wits about you. Just be present in the moment and be aware of your surroundings. Access the situation and figure out what call to action fits the situation.

Second, pull the vehicle over to a safe area. Others are still driving on the road so you’ll need to be careful and in a safe place. Many people have been injured by pulling over in dangerous areas.

Even when in a safe area, it’s best not to stay in a car that is a sitting duck for other vehicles to crash into. This is true especially at night. However, like stated before, access the situation and do what feels safest to you given the situation.

Auto warranty providerIf you have purchased a roadside assistance protection program package, call the number on the contract. If you have Continental Diamond, call 800-338-2680.

If you have Continental Ultra Shield, call 800-346-6469.

Immediately notify Continental Warranty Inc. by calling 302-375-0401. We need to know about the mechanical breakdown. Once a tow truck moves the vehicle to a service center, have the facility call us to verify coverage by a vehicle service contract. Do not have any repairs done or disassembly performed before we authorize repairs.  This is extremely important.

This process can be simplified when using Continental Warranty as your provider for auto warranties. We like to simplify things, and we’re pretty sure people prefer simple when it comes to headaches like repair claims.
